You get taken off somewhere, and you open your eyes—and you forget where you were. I just
had to turn and remember where it started. I think it was when Mary Beth called Rachel and
Justin up. The Lord just started unfolding something to me that was one of the strangest word
progressions I remember hearing. And it started in a place that I wasn’t even thinking of. It went
somewhere that was nowhere in my mind.
Moments when the LORD may speak something to you that you’re not even sure you believe. I
started hearing the Lord say that He is doing a deliverance in His people from trauma—its
primary trauma and its secondary trauma.
And it looks something like this: There are people who have set the compass of their life
according to leadership and directions that were speaking into the Body of Christ. And those
leaders had a failure somewhere along the way—or they disappointed—or they went a different
direction. It left many people in a lurch, and they didn’t exactly know where to go.
The Lord was showing me that He’s healing a great trauma in the Body of Christ—for those who
have been following leaders who had a vision, leaders who were really appointed by God, but
who had a failure or a falling out or a course redirection. It left many people wondering, “Where
am I going? Where is my life?” Many found themselves in a free fall—even a spiral.
And He said, “I’m bringing healing. I’m bringing deliverance. I’m bringing people’s lives back
on track.”
Now listen—I’m bringing people’s lives back on track.
There are those who are called to this movement of prayer that I started in the earth, says
the Lord. There are those who are called to this movement of prayer that I started in the earth.
And there is a refiring. There is a reswirling. There is a re-ignition that I am turning loose in this
hour.
For I will not have those following men. I will not have those following ones who are off in a
ditch. I will not have those following something that does not consummate with the
consuming—the all-consuming fire of My Spirit—in this hour.
For there are those I have called to a movement of prayer that I started in the earth, says the
Lord. There is a movement of prayer in the earth, and I am refiring it. I am refocusing it. I am
repackaging it. I am relaunching it, says the Lord, in this hour. For there are those who are called
to a movement of prayer in the earth, says the Lord, and it is My hour.
Did I not say I have a baptism of fire? And did I not say how I wish it were already burning in
the earth? says the Lord. For there is a great kindling that is coming on the earth in this hour.
There are many who are called to the prayer movement. Many are called to houses of prayer
and worship. Many are called to give themselves to day and night prayer and worship—and the
releasing of the word of the Lord.
But the Lord says:
“I am jealous for this movement. I am jealous for this movement.
And nobody will have it unto themselves—for it is Mine and Mine alone.
Did not the scripture say that I will reestablish the tabernacle of David?
And all will come—My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations,” says the Lord.
Did not Elijah watch as the prophets of Baal did all their things? He let them go first. He let them
build their altars, dance, cut themselves, and do all their gyrations—all day long and into the
night. They put on a good show. But they didn’t produce a single thing.
The Lord says, “I’ve waited. I’ve let the enemy play out his full hand. I let him roll out things
unimaginable—things that have been seen before. But nothing catches Me by surprise. And I let
him go, and I let him go. And now he’s so far out on the limb that he doesn’t even realize how
far he is. But in a moment, I’m going to establish in this generation that I am still the God who
answers by fire. I am still the God who answers by fire.”
Go ahead, Baal. Go ahead—only adding to the culmination of what the Lord has in mind.
There are many called to this prayer movement with ears to hear. Many are called to this
movement in this hour. This is not a moment for false starts. This is not a moment of start and
stop, start and stop. We’ve come to the moment we’ve all been waiting for.
Lord, we thank You.
It was with this end in mind that You offered up Your body. Greatness comes out of You.
Chaos is the birthing place. When Jesus came the first time, it was to a world of chaos. It was a
world of confusion. There was so much spiritual dust in the air. So many talking heads vying for
attention. Political unrest was the order of the day.
And at His return, it will be no different.
It was the joy set before Him.
Come on—it was the joy set before Him.
Lord, we enter in, as we take Your body today, into the joy that was set before You.
I’m telling you—we’re looking for some kind of normal church experience... but we’re going to
be so—
It’s out of whack out there.
It’s out of whack. Yeah, come on.
I don’t know if you’re going to find that in Vines—it’s my language. It’s “out of whack.” It’s
right after “out of your mind.”
The blood of the new covenant—we say yes, Lord.
There’s nothing any of us have—nothing in our life or experience up to this point—that is
greater than saying yes to You at this moment in time.
All that we have, all that we are, all that we’re not, all that we’ve lost, all that we’ve gained—
Like Paul said, “I count everything in the past—success and failure—all of it as nothing
compared to the surpassing knowledge of knowing You.”
