In June of this year, I was invited to apply to be considered as an Israel Ambassadorship, an opportunity that opened through the White House Faith Office. I was accepted and scheduled to launch into Israel for the last eight days of July. However, due to the 12-day war—Operation Lion between Israel and Iran from June 13–25—the trip was postponed.
Later, communication came that I was permitted to invite a few others to apply for this ambassadorship, provided they met specific criteria. By mid-August, Sheridan Pogue, Steve Pogue, Troy Erb, Chene’ Tucker, and an educator friend, Susan Ekhoff, were accepted for the rescheduled September 6–14 Israel trip. Since August 12th, we began praying together every two weeks for Israel.
This date was later moved again to December 1–8. Three weeks ago, the final invitations for this initiative were released. At first, the only invitation issued was to Troy Erb. We waited and inquired whether more were coming, and eventually one additional invitation was sent—to me. With all humility, Troy and I have accepted this invitation and this moment in history. We are steadfast in standing with faith for the other’s to receive their invitation. They are ready at a moment’s notice to join the Israel Ambassador Summit.
Therefore, we do not go alone. YOU—our family—are invited to stand with us in prayer and in the aftereffects of this ambassadorship. There are those who have inquired how they can give into Israel. While Israel is covering our flights from the U.S. to Israel, hotel, and two meals a day, our personal cost will be approximately $1,500 each or more. Let me give you more information-
– In a groundbreaking initiative, The State of Israel is working with the Friends of Zion Ambassador Institute as well as President Trump’s White House Faith Office to commission pastors, leaders, educators, and social media influencers as “Friends of Zion Israel Ambassadors” to combat anti-Semitism and educate and reach people around the world with the truth.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee praised the initiative, calling it a "blessed and important award and a vital tribute to Israel's allies among the next generation."
This visionary initiative is being led by the esteemed Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center in Jerusalem. “FOZ has become an embassy. We are embraced now by the Foreign Ministry who is now working with us,” states Evans.
“We have been approved by the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and by the State of Israel to invest and commission ambassadors to the State of Israel. Israel acknowledges and deeply appreciates the influence of Christians on culture and on society at large.
This event is by private invitations only- and includes Meeting with various government officials including the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) briefing on current situations in Israel, visiting the Yah Vashem Holocaust Museaum, an event at the Kibbutz to meet with hostage families and stories of heroism, Military debriefing from IDF soldiers and regional leaders, FOZ Ambassador Program training, visiting the Temple Mount, Communion at the Garden Tomb, and to Visit Jerusalem- the Eternal Capital coordinated by the Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs which includes Mount Olive, The Lions Gate, Via Dolorosa station of the cross, Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Arab Market and more.
The week will culminate with participants receiving a certificate signed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, certifying attendees as Ambassadors of Israel.
WHY? “A larger percentage of the youth globally have turned against Israel. Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood supporters have been winning the ideological war by using social justice narratives,” Evans explained.
“For years, now, the Middle Eastern Gulf states have been pouring billions of dollars into elite campuses across the US, which has brainwashed students. Rather than believe that those who wage war against us are evil, we begin to see ourselves as evil for retaliating,” he added.
Spearheaded by FOZ, the Ambassador program aims “to train emerging leaders worldwide in core leadership principles and a robust biblical worldview, equipping them to effectively address the rising tide of antisemitism.”
They will be required to complete a “comprehensive online leadership and biblical worldview course” developed by Evans. They will undergo “an immersive experience, connecting with the land and its people before being formally commissioned as honorary ambassadors for Israel.” signifying their dedication to the program's mission and values. “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will personally sign the new ambassadors’ diplomas and speak at their graduation, “underscoring the significance of this initiative to the nation.”
Founded in 2015 by Evans, FOZ is dedicated to building “bridges of understanding and support” between Christians and Jews around the world.

Evans announced last month at the Friends of Zion Heritage Center the creation of the Charlie Kirk Award, this will be an annual recognition that will be presented to a young man or woman who exemplifies the values that Charlie Kirk lived by: moral clarity, courage, and unwavering support for Judeo-Christian principles, especially the State of Israel.
This inaugural award will be presented this December in Jerusalem, during a historic gathering hosted by Dr. Evans, bringing together 1,000 pastors, leaders and influencers who stand with Israel.

On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west- Mount Olives is now East of Jerusalem. Therefore, Jesus physically returning to Israel. The Mount of Olives is the very place from which He ascended (Acts 1)
Ephesians 2:14-16 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in His flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross.”
Isaiah 56:6-7 “And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to Him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be His servants… these I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. For My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
