Exploring Romans with Dr. John Harrigan

Dr. John Harrigan is coming to Kingdom Rain. You do not want to miss this rare and rich opportunity. Rick and Marybeth, along with Steve and Rachel Pogue, are personally inviting you to a special time with Dr. John Harrigan on Sunday, August 2 @ 2PM at Breakthrough Church.

As many of you have been uncovering the foundational truths of Romans, we believe this will be a significant opportunity to hear from one of the foremost voices in biblical theology, the Jewish roots of the gospel, and God's redemptive purposes for Israel and the nations.

John spends most of the year in the Middle East on the mission field among unreached peoples, teaching where the Gospel of the Kingdom is advancing around the world. He is only in the United States for about 45 days each year, and we are honored to have him with us for one of those weekends.

Holding a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies, John's research on Paul's mission to the Gentiles has been recognized by the American Society of Missiology, and his book, The Gospel of Christ Crucified, has equipped ministry leaders across multiple continents. His central message is both compelling and timely:

Paul cannot be understood apart from his Jewish roots. The apocalyptic hope of Israel is not merely the background of Paul's gospel—it is the framework.

John's teaching has brought remarkable clarity to many of the themes we have been exploring in Romans and has greatly complemented Steve's years of study in Messianic theology. If you have been part of these discussions—or desire a deeper understanding of Scripture in its original context—you will not want to miss this evening.

This gathering will also provide an opportunity to encourage and bless John and to sow a seed financially as he continues his mission to the nations.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be an enriching and

inspiring evening as we continue preparing our hearts and minds for God's purposes concerning Israel, the nations, and the advancing Kingdom
